1. Using the periodic table in the back cover of your textbook, trace the outline of the boxes for each of these elements:
Nonmetals: trace with Dark Red Metals: trace with Dark Blue Metalloids: trace with Dark Green
2. Using page 197 of your textbook, lightly color in the boxes for each of these elements:
Transition Metals: lightly color with Purple Inner Transition Metals: lightly color with Orange
Representative Elements: lightly color everything else Yellow
3. Using section 7.1 of your textbook, draw a diagonal line through the boxes for each of these elements:
Alkali Metals: / lines of Purple Alkaline Earth Metals: / lines of Blue
4. Using section 7.2 of your textbook, draw a diagonal line through the boxes for each of these elements:
Halogens: / lines of Green Noble Gases: / lines of Orange
5. Using page 197 of your textbook, draw a diagonal line through the boxes for each of these elements:
